An Origin Story

What is Raging Bees, LLC? Is it still around? Who is Inga Headland? Inga Brege? Are they people, places, things? Are they all the same? Relax. Your answers are here.

It all started when…

I was working as a freelance graphic designer and brand consultant. My big sister, Leslye Headland, and her friend, Natasha Lyonne asked for my help on a pitch deck.

It turned out I was pretty good at it. In fact, I was pretty great at preproduction design in general. We ended up developing materials for a show Netflix picked up called Russian Doll. A show that went on to win a bunch of awards, including nine Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

My experience in fine art, design, advertising and marketing had given me the technical skills and professional acumen to create strong layouts that efficiently translate and effectively communicate the visions of my clients.

Over time, I noticed there was a serious dearth of resources for those wanting to develop their pitch decks, lookbooks or any other preproduction materials. So in 2017, I founded with the name Raging Bees LLC and started helping other people make their movies.

Headland to Brege and back again

In 2022, I parted ways with my best friend and changed my name back to the one my parents gave me. Subsequently, I dissolved Raging Bees and resumed my professional operations under the name Inga Headland LLC—partly because “Raging Bees” was an anagram of my former married name, and partly because the constant need to explain it was tedious.
