The Pisces

The Pisces is a magical project based on author Melissa Broder's critically acclaimed novel. Claire Foy has signed on to play the main character: a PhD student with writer’s block and a romantic obsession with a fantastical merman. The film explores the boundaries of pleasure, possession, and reality. Anne Carey developed the script with Broder and Gillian Robespierre.
